Has anyone any facts about the Brealey Smith tank and seat? (Look at Dave Prescott's T20 on page "Your bikes"). Who is or was Brealey Smith? Are there those tanks and seats still left and for sale? Any hints? |

Brealey Smith were a company who manufactured fibre glass products, they made panniers and top boxes as well as tanks and seats, I've not seen any of their products on the market for years, maybe they've gone out of business. |

To All interested parties. Brealey Smith was a GRP moulding company based in Nottingham. Unfortunately they went out of business in 1988 as a result of the failiure of Triumph & Hesketh motorcycle companies. Brealey Smith used to manufacture in their early years combined fuel tanks & seats for bikes including BSA, Honda etc. They then moved into the production of OEM equipment for Yamaha's RD 250 & 350 LC, Triumph & fairings for the Honda CB250N dream. Top Boxes, pannier sets and fairing/visors for Puch, Motobecane & Honda mopeds. They had a brief spell of producing a leisure jet boat called the Bucaneer ( the first "wave runner" ) from 1969 to early 70's and also made a number of gyrocopters. hope this helps you all |
